Laura Gauer Bermudez, LMSW, PhD specializes in work with adolescents and young adults experiencing grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, emerging adulthood, and men’s issues.   

Laura’s education in social work and in international public policy informs her human rights-oriented approach to therapy. She believes that, despite our differences, we all experience commonalities: a desire for meaning, mastery, purpose, belonging, and hope.  

In her work with clients, Laura focuses heavily on the therapeutic relationship to foster growth and reflection. She wants to deeply understand each client in order to give them the tools they need to grow, build confidence, and meet their goals.

Alexa Holzberger, LMSW works with individuals and couples of all ages. She is passionate about helping those living with depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and relationship or family issues.  

Alexa has a deep understanding of how our past experiences, especially those early in life, impact our mind, body, and overall wellness.

Alexa considers the connection between a client and clinician to be the most crucial part of successful work in therapy. Using a trauma-informed, strengths-focused approach, she grows sensitive, supportive relationships with each of her clients. She strikes a balance between empowering and challenging her clients in order to help them reach their full potential.
